May 16, 2107
We just read in the newspaper that the Aliens are on the move again; they are getting closer to where we live. My father wants me to live on my own in the America. He assures me that I will do just fine there, but I really want him to go as well. But he tells me that he has to stay here to help fight them off. He said before I go, he is going to teach me to how to fight. Before he puts me on the ship.
June 1st 2108
Father finally found someone that would take me to the Americas. We are supposed to meet at the docks. Early in the morning, before sun up.
June 2nd 2108
Well its 5am, and we are on our way to the dock. I am so tired, stayed up late to get ready to go. My father seems to think that I am well prepared for this trip. I hope he is right, he just told me as well, if all goes well he will be joining me there but at a later date, so I need to find a place to live for now and get a job or make money somehow.
Well its 6 am, and my father just told me to stay in the car, he said that he needed to find this Lady. So here I sit.
Well its now 12 noon I just woke up and thought I better put some more details in here so that I not forget.
Father brought this lady to the car, he told me that I need to go with her and she would get me to the Americas. Her name is Mrs. Lequieu and for me to do exactly what she says. I hugged my father goodbye. I told him I love him and he reassured me that we would see each other again. He got into his car and drove away. Mrs. Lequieu put her arm around me and gave me a nice hug and said it will be all right, you will see him again. She smiled really nice. She made me feel a lot better. We walked to her car; she helped me with my luggage and equipment that my father gave me. We got into the car and just sat there. Mrs. Lequieu said E.C. Lequieu; I shook my head and said what? She said again E.C. Lequieu. I said I don’t…. she interrupted me and said; well your name is now E.C. Lequieu. You are going to call me mom. And your name changed. It is the only way that we could get you to the Americas. Is if you’re my son. This was your father’s plan, he came up with the idea, since the aliens have taken the docks just north of us, we had to do something quick. I know that the aliens had killed your mom when she was at work, I know this will be hard on you calling me mom, but this is the only way. She said do you understand? I shook my head yes. I was thinking this is going to be weird. The next thing Mrs. Lequieu was waking me up and said come on sweetie, its time to go. I yawned and stretched to see this giant ship in front us. It was a cruise ship sort of. It had cannons and machine gun portals. But it used to be a cruise ship just modified for any aliens attacks; they wanted to be ready for anything.
Mrs. Lequieu smiled and said let’s go. She grabbed my hand and off we went carrying our luggage to the dock. We didn’t have to wait to long before we boarded. We were second in line. This ship was as big as our village. We got to our room and I looked at the bed, it looked so comfy, so I lay down just for a minute and three hours I slept. Mom said we are not out of the woods yet. We still haven’t been through customs in the Americas. So we have to play it safe until then.
June 3rd 2108
Well mom said; we need to stay in our room as much as possible. We could go out once in awhile, but need to stay close to the room.

I found a gym on this ship and I have got a really nice tan going on. I am not looking bad at all.

Nothing new to report; other than I am sick of the water, that is all I see. Yuck.

I was just told that we are getting close to land. We should be there in a day or so.
June 19th 2108
I just heard the best news ever. Land ahoy. I can see it now I am so excited. Mom said by afternoon we are going to be docked and ready to deport. We still have to go thru customs but after that we are ready to go. The excitement in her voice made me more excited.
June 19th at 4:21pm
Land, at last! I’ve been on that boat for so long, I can hardly remember what solid ground feels like. And here I am, where I never thought I'd make it, in the land of opportunities! I stepped off the dock and looked around. What an unusual place this is!
I spotted the ship captain, and I went up to him and ask about the equipment that I had shipped over. He replies to your query, "Well, this is the town clerk right here. He tells me that with all the traffic coming in and going out, customs has to clear any shipments before they are released."
The town clerk adds, "I'll be in the town, don't worry I'll flag you down as soon as your shipment is cleared for release."
Frowning, mom said you might as well get to know the area while you wait for the rest of your equipment to be released to you. She said; you need to head into town to try and get a weapon before you get into any trouble.
As if reading her mind, the town clerk says, "If you think you might need to defend yourself, Martog can help you. His shop is the building with the sword hanging over the door just down the street."
I was like, dang it, I need that equipment, my father gave it to me. I don’t get it until later. Mom gave me 200 credits told me to go buy a weapon. She told me she was leaving and she would see me again later.
June 20th 2108
Ok last night I go and bought a gun. It was late when I finally decided what I wanted. I bought the gun, (and then I clicked on my inventory, I then clicked on equip on that screen.) I went to a bench sat down and fell asleep. I found out that is not allowed in this town. I ended up in jail last night and it was so crowded. So I basically slept standing up. I have to sleep somewhere else next time.
June 21st 2108
I spent yesterday looking through all the shops in Ft. McAlister. Ft. McAlister has lots to offer. A bank, hospital, Jail, Sword shop, Library, Barber Shop, and a Arena. There is also a texmex restaurant. I hear that they are hiring sometimes. Oh yeah there is a gun shop here too.
I went ahead and bought me a .38 pistol. It’s still not as good as the stuff my father gave me, but it will have to do.
I spoke with all the shop keeps, and they tell me that they buy just about anything. So tomorrow I am going out in the fields and see if I can kill some stuff and then come back here to sell it. I am sure I can make more credits and buy a better gun.
June 22nd 2108
Well I met some guys at the bar and was told that if I kill any Scorpions that I should keep them instead of selling them, I should save them for Martog’s, he will repair armor in exchange for them. They poked fun at me and said when I get good at fighting with my fist only, I can sign up at the Arena and fight those guys for more credits. But I really needed to fight with my fist as much as possible. I don’t know if they were telling the truth or not. Have to go there sometime and find out. They also told me that there are really big gates just outside of town to the north and I would have to have a visa in order to get out. I question them about it and they told me that you had to be at least a level 6 or higher to get out.
Well as I was walking in town, I piece of paper flew into me and I read it, it says that the texmex is hiring. I am going first thing in the morning. I hope I get the job. Make some money and buy some armor.
